Pipe Layer
$22–30 per hourInstall and repair water, sewer, and storm utilities on residential and commercial projects in New Castle, Rifle, Glenwood Springs, and the Roaring Fork Valley.
What you’ll do
- Install mainline and service lines for water, sewer, and storm drainage
- Set and check grade with pipe lasers, rotary lasers, or GPS
- Work safely in open trenches with trench boxes and shoring
- Bed, backfill, and compact to project specifications
- Assist equipment operators with spotting, layout, and site cleanup
What we’re looking for
- Previous utility or excavation experience
- Knowledge of trench safety and common pipe materials
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus
